Summary
This article covers host and account roles and permissions
Users have a role at two different levels: the website host level and the study level. By default, roles and permissions at the host level are already configured for most scenarios. That is why, when first adding a new user to a host (via the User Manager), most users will have the role No Access, meaning they do not have any host-level access. Instead, their access is purely at the study level where they will have a different role (e.g., Monitor and Investigator).
For access to host-level role configurations, contact support.
Once enabled, Host Administrators will be able to define new host level roles and configure the permissions outlined as follows.
